Lifestyle Lake Barrington

Our Vision:
Lake Barrington is a unique countryside community that values its natural environmental features and develops its land predominantly for residential uses.

Unique Countryside Living

The Village of Lake Barrington is a hamlet of neighborhoods and residential nooks nestled in open spaces, woodlands and wetlands in the southwest corner of Lake County, approximately 40 miles northwest of the Chicago Loop.  During the 2010 U.S. Census 4,973 people called Lake Barrington their home.

The Village has introduced a number of initiatives involving partnerships with residents, local businesses and area organizations which all contribute to a community of unique countryside living.  These programs were introduced or supported over the last few years to enhance the quality of life for Lake Barrington residents including community health and wellness, Leave No Child Inside, neighborhood beautification, and most notably, its award-winning Open Space Initiative.
