PACE Dial-A-Ride

PACE/Dial a Ride program is subsidized by the the Village of Lake Barrington for seniors and the disabled.  The service offers local curb-to-curb service for $1 each way.  For enrollment, reservations and information please call 800-451-4599 or 815-363-4305.  Reservations can be made 24 hours in advance and 7 days in advance for medical appointments. 

Voter Registration Information
Voter registration, which must be completed in person, is available at the Village Municipal Center during its regular business hours. Please bring in two forms of identification with at least one showing your current address. The forms were revised to require your driver's license or - state identification number in lieu of your social security number. See Lake County Clerk for more information about voter's registration or to locate your polling place.

Qualifications for Voter Registration

1. Appear in person before the registrar;
   
2. Be a United States citizen;
   
3. Be 18 years of age by the date of the next election (17 year-olds whose birthday is on or before the next election may register to vote);
   
4. On the date of the next election, have resided in the voting precinct for 30 days;
   
5. Provide two (2) forms of identification; one must show their current physical address.
   

Acceptable Forms of Identification
Each person applying for registration must provide two forms of identification.  Identificaiton with the applicant’s name, address, signature and picture is preferred.  At least one form of identification MUST include the applicant’s physical residence address.
Acceptable forms of current (not expired) identification with present physical address include:

• Illinois driver’s license
  
• State of Illinois identification card
  
• Utility or contract service bill addressed to application at physical address postmarked no more than 30 days prior
  
• Personalized check from checking account

Secondary forms of current (not expired) identification bearing the applicant’s name include:

• Valid passport
  
• Military, employee, student or welfare identification card
  
• Certified copy of birth certificate
  
• Social Security or veteran’s administration patient card
  
• Civic, union or professional membership card
  
• Check cashing card
  
• Library or insurance card
  
• Certified copy of marriage license or divorce papers
  
• Naturalization papers
